i have a bearded dragon to...and i wanted to name it something kind of desserty so i named it Phoenix and i still like the name i choose (5 years later) i'd choose Quillo (or you can use Phoenix if you like it!)
Reply:its funny because i've had mine for like a month and still don't know what to name it. I wouldn't put too much thought into it or you'll end up like me.
Reply:I named my boy Frank, and sometimes I call him Frankenstein, and when I had my little girl ( she died of dietary issues) her name was Sheila, but I just called her little one. She was very tiny.

Regarding the tv show Brothers & Sisters, why do the main characters always wear muted/neutral colors?

I just started watching the show over the last couple of months, but I've noticed the members of the main family seldom wear colorful clothing. Usually dark/muted colors, maybe an occasional pale lavendar or cornflower blue. The mom wore a red sweater once, but only during a short sequence when she talked about losing her virginity. Anyone else notice this? Any theories?

Regarding the tv show Brothers %26amp; Sisters, why do the main characters always wear muted/neutral colors?
Interesting, I've never thought of that. The only thing I noticed was that Robert alwys wears blue. But you might be on to something.
Reply:I like this show too, but I have never really noticed before.
Reply:i love that show.. i have never noticed this before but now that you mention it i see your point

Art/wall decor for teen bedroom?

My room was recently re-painted. The walls are a tan color with one accent wall that is a cornflower/periwinkle blue. I would like some ideas on cheap DIY ideas for my walls. Something like cutting a picture in half or thirds and putting it on picture frames in a sequence. Pictures of the craft would be great just so I can get a feel of what it looks like.

Art/wall decor for teen bedroom?
Go buy 3 or 4 cheap frames, and while you are there get some scrap booking paper. Frame them and wallah cheap easy art, and you can change it around as you wish!
Reply:Before you decide what kind of decorative accessories to use, you’ll need to determine how you want to approach the design. Paintings, pictures, posters, prints, and wood trim are commonly attached on the walls, making them a part of your decorating scheme

What else do you use flowers for in a wedding?

I am looking to keep our wedding budget low. I have recently decided to make the bouquets and centerpieces for my wedding, but what else do you use flowers for? Also, my colors are cornflower blue and clover green; what types of flowers do you recommend for those colors?

What else do you use flowers for in a wedding?
Use flowers for the bouquets. You will also need boutonnieres and corsages for the bridal party and honored guests. As far as centerpieces go, you can save a lot by cutting down on flowers there. Instead of elaborate floral arrangements, try floating blooms in rose bowls or placing a few colorful stems in a vase and surrounding it with votive. It will look beautiful and will be more interesting than a basic floral centerpiece.

As far as your colors go, green and blue hydrangeas would be gorgeous. However, depending on the season they could be a little on the pricey side. If you aren't using a ton of them though (they are very full so you wouldn't need to) it would be doable.

They also have light green roses that would be pretty with the blue hydrangeas.

Another pretty blue flower is delphinium, but I am not sure how delicate it is once picked.

Good luck!
Reply:Flowers are good all over the place. If you're getting married by a justice of the peace, put a bouquet on each side of the jp %26amp; couple. In other words, if I were standing at a little distance behind you, I'd see the bouquets on each side. All you need is 2. Ask someone to take the bouquets after the ceremony. If you're having it in church put a bouquet at each pew you know will be occupied, + others at the other spots you already know. Those flowers will adorn the tables at the reception. Use mostly low arrangements at the bride %26amp; groom's table--people will be stopping by. Add glamour with a couple of large clear/light colored candles where they are not likely to get knocked over--center front froma guest point of view. Green dyed carnations + ? Best of luck!
Reply:To cover all bad events, just like pollution and etc

And for increasing the ease atmosphere

for giving good smell of each other and etc
Reply:the boutonnieres for all the men in the wedding party including the groom, best man ushers and also father of the bride and groom and any grandfathers of the bride or groom.also if there is a flower girl it can be a small bouquet or rose petals in a small basket.i recommend fake ones made of fabric.you can go to a craft store or shop on line for fake silk flowers.they are less expensive beautiful and will last forever.also corsages for the mothers of bride and the groom and any grandmothers of the bride or groom.also a boutonniere for the ring bearer if you have one.i can not help with the types of flowers but look in a seed catalog or magazine that sells flowers to find the best selection and the names.congratulations and good luck.
Reply:Most people have boutonnieres for the guys- those need flowers. Most people have corsages for the Moms, Grandmas etc

Some people have "alter arrangements" for wherever the ceremony takes place. Some people have fresh flowers in their pew bows/arrangements. Some people have fresh flowers on their cake. Some people have fresh flower arrangements by the guest book, But those are all optional. You could either not do those arrangements or do something besides fresh flowers.

For your colors, definitely the green can be greenery. Not sure for the cornflower blue though- I'm sure you can find something pretty if you just go to a floral shop and start looking.

Good luck!
Reply:how to use flowers:

~ decorations around the room (like in random vases perhaps at each end of the top table)

~ in the mens pockets

~ at the end of the pews if it's a church wedding or fastened to the seats

~ can sometimes be used for hair decoration

types of flowers:

~ keep the green in the leaves rather than trying to find a flower in this colour!!

~ if you don't like any blue flowers use blue in the ribbons tying the flowers together

~ if you are doing the two ideas above stick to white flowers - you don't want it looking like a circus!!

here are some blue flowers:

~ hyacinth

~ delphiniums

~ hydrangea

~ iris

hope this helps....have a lovely wedding xx
Reply:Wow, you've already got some great advice!

If you're having a buffet, don't forget the centerpiece for that. I've found that anything under 30" tall looks out of scale. You can't realistically go too tall.

Good luck!
Reply:Groom, Best man, ushers, ring bearer, fathers wear wear boutonnieres. Mothers wear corsages. Flower girl needs petals to throw. Some place flowers on the first several rows of seating to signify special seating for friends and family. Any white flower can be colored to the shades you want for you wedding. You can do this at home with some trial and error. Put food dye in water and put the stem of the flower in. Water will be drawn up and the flower will turn the color of the dye. Daisies and carnations work best for this.
Reply:the flower girl usually drops petals down the aisle .. you need each bridesmaid to hold a bouquet and yourself .. then groomsmen usually have a flower in their suit pocket .. centerpieces can be flowers .. you can also use them to decorate the altar or whatever you are getting married on

i would go to your florist and have them help you pick out the flowers .. they can match flowers to any colors you need
Reply:Flowers are for:

2 dads boutonnieres

2 moms coursages

brides bouquet

grooms boutonniere

I am picking wedding colors for my beach wedding, I have blue and tan (sky, sand) I need an accent (sun),?

What color will go with that? I have from DavidsBridal.com. Cornflower, and Champange Dresses.

I need a color to mix in for like my flowers and accent pieces also. Would like a yellow, orange go? (light color maybe)

HELP?

Thanks

I am picking wedding colors for my beach wedding, I have blue and tan (sky, sand) I need an accent (sun),?
A green or a pink would look really great with cornflower and champagne. Maybe like a sea foam green or a baby pink.
Reply:Oh absolutely - think of a beautiful tropical sunset - red-orange sun against the pale turquoise sky running right up to the tan sand - and accents of green (palms) and mauve (distant clouds) and even a bit of "midnight blue" (night sky creeping in)

Or look at all those orange tropical flowers - yeah oranges and reds would be really pretty!
Reply:OMG - SUN=Yellow - answered by a three year old.
Reply:Yes, white. Blue and tan are so beautiful, you do not want to drown them out.
Reply:go with white like the surf
Reply:I agree that the yellows available are too close to the champagne to work as a separate accent color. Also, the blue is a bit too bright to really work with another pastel.

I think the color that David's Bridal calls "Palm Beach Coral" would be a great accent to the blue, and definitely speaks to the beach theme.
Reply:Yellow and orange were the first colors to pop into my head. Just make sure they compliment each other.
Reply:First off... Congratulations on getting married! Best wishes!

Secondly... Cornflower %26amp; Champange are beautiful colors. Some accent colors could be:

♥ Coral

♥ Peach-orange

♥ Pink-orange

♥ Salmon

♥ Sandy Brown
Reply:a salmon pink--you do not want too pastel a color--the salmon pink comes in flowers and it is a true medium color reminding one of sunsets, sun rising and goes perfect with the light neutral colors you have all ready selected
Reply:coral , orange, maybe even yellow would look nice.
Reply:why not gold..? i think that would look really nice.

i think gold, tan and a baby blue color would look amazing together!
Reply:I like the salmon color others have suggested (like a hibiscus maybe?) I also like a green color - like sand dune grass or palm leaves depending on the shades of tan and cornflower (sorry, I didn't go to the David's Bridal site to check).

Think about the kinds of flowers/centerpieces you want and go from there.
Reply:salmon or soft peach. It will look stunning.
Reply:black for death and night
Reply:use white because you don't want too many colors going on. I think the cornflower and champange nicely compliment each other and anything but white will take away from those colors. These are your main colors right? You don't want an accent color to over-power them and yellow or organe would do just that. White is nice and crisp and can represent the sruft, as someone already stated...or the clouds in the sky. I am sure that your florist will have great ideas to intigrate some splashes of beach-y color into your flowers.

Good luck!
Reply:I think orange would look awesome with blue %26amp; champagne. It would really "pop"!

http://www.budget-bride.com/1782.htm
Reply:Same theme here... my colors are pink, brown, and accent is white..

but you could go with a light yellow..
Reply:Maybe a salmon or coral color? Something that pops out at you, it could represent the sunset or even a flower. You definitely need a stronger color. The yellow would look good with the blue, but the sand color already has a hint of yellow in it so they might just wash each other out.

Do artichokes come back year after year (in the garden!)?

We were given a free packet of cornflower seeds which my husband happily scatter-sowed in our flowerbeds. Alarmingly large plants have materialised - and they're artichokes! We'll eat them this year but are wondering what will happen if we transplant them to the vegetable patch in the autumn? Will they come back next year or should we just dig them up later in the year and put them in the compost?

Do artichokes come back year after year (in the garden!)?
So long as the plant does not freeze then yes, they will return. Artichokes are usually grown near the coast here in California because it seldom freezes near the coast.

Watch out for aphids.

Additonally if you do not cut them to eat, they will bloom in to a large purple flower.
Reply:They should come back, although you can get annual artichokes I have only seen them available one place so doubt yours are.
Reply:both the globe artichoke and Jerusalem artichokes will come every year.
Reply:artichokes will continue to come back year after year. There are many varieties, the most common or the ones you see in the store are Globe. Most are in peak production from 3-8 years but some can produce for 10 or more years

Which of these bridesmaid dresses will look the best with my wedding dress? :)?

PLEASE READ THESE DETAIILS!!!

ALL OF THE BRIDESMAID DRESSES WILL BE BLUE NO MATTER WHICH DRESS WE CHOOSE. IF IT IS TWO-TONED, WE WILL USE A CORNFLOWER BLUE FOR THE DRESS AND A LIGHTER BLUE FOR THE SASH OR BOW.

ALL OF THE LONG DRESSES WILL BE CUT TO STOP RIGHT BELOW THE KNEE. NONE WILL BE LONG LIKE IN THE PICTURES.

ARE THERE TWO THAT WOULD LOOK GOOD TOGETHER?

Thank you! :)

Which of these bridesmaid dresses will look the best with my wedding dress? :)?
Personally, I don't like the idea of your bridesmaids going strapless if you have straps (even if yours are really small and dainty). Based on that, I would suggest the orange "overlay with beading" one. As a plus, it also repeats the open front style of your dress.
Reply:the lighter green one is the nicest design - go for that one!!!
Reply:I think the blue one with the thing tied around the waist is cute. I think its the second one. I like the orange also. Those should go nicely!
Reply:I have to be totally honest with you...I am not a fan of strapless dresses, but I love halter tops and sparkles...My absolute FAV is the pink one.
Reply:i personally like this one best:

FOREVER-Ruschedupperbuttonsdownside.jp...

it matches your dress (if that wedding dress was yours) and is pretty while still being simple so it won't draw attention away from you.
Reply:I tink that the green dresses will look the best with you dress
Reply:I think this dress FOREVER-StraplessTieatEmpireWaist (aka the purple ones) would make a very beautiful dress. Expecially if you are going to do a two tone blue combination.
Reply:the short one with the sash, most other ones were to busy with your dress in my opinion, and with it already being short, it would save on alterations!
Reply:Forever Ruschedupper. Those are very neat and would look very nice at a wedding.
Reply:the organza overlay/orange dress would look great....my 2nd choice would be the blue set.
Reply:i like the style of the orange one. the strapless ones are nice too. either the orange or the blue strapless, in my opinion. of course, they're all gorgeous
Reply:i like the organza overlay one. i believe in the pic it looks peachy orange. it is cute and would match the upper style of the brides gown a little better. plus the wearer will probably be able to use the dress/gown for other things. if its one thing i hate is a bridesmaids dress in the closet that i spent hard money for and can only wear it once. sometimes you don't even want to wear it that one time. good luck. it mostly depends on what you think you like and the girls agree too. congratulations
Reply:I think the orange one looks best.
Reply:They are all beautiful, personally I like the

FOREVER-Ruschedupper...

I am sure whichever 1 u choose will look great. congrats.
Reply:i like the style of the orange dress. i'm assuming that the white dress is your wedding dress so i think that the style goes great with it.
Reply:i think the dark purple, i think the ones will rhinestones or whatever is too much for a bridesmaid dress, it should all be on you!! the bow does just enough.. it would be especially pretty for a summer wedding and it looks like it will fit good on all shapes!!

good luck and congrulations=]
Reply:I think you should go with the blue steapless tie, as long as the dresses doesn't clash with the flowers you have chosen. Do the dresses match the groom-mens attire. You could go with matching vests. Anyway it's your day chose what you like not what your attendents want. Good luck and best wishes
Reply:the style halter with beading i feel is the one that will look best with your dress...

the orange style seemed to sexy for a brides maid,.. sorry but that was first impression i got.

the purple seemed to little girl style....cute on lil ones...but past 12 yrs would look not right...i thought...and if you had women as maids that is why i thought no...

but the light green was ok, but in shorter length i did not see it as nice as if long...

so that's why i say the beaded one,

it went well next to your dress style, and i can see it looking better shorter and in cornflower blue with sash.

congratulations Hun to you both on you big day, and remember to choose what you like its your day not ours :)

hope all goes well!
Reply:i like the ones that are in green and pink. (not suggesting the color but the style)

congratulations! ^^
Reply:Bride to be, These are all very beautiful dresses, along with the dress you have chosen. I think one thing you need to keep in mind is not just what will look good with your dress, but will the attendants look good in it as well. Some of these dresses might not work if the attendants a very busty or not have so much. So you need to take your attendants and try on dresses that are similar too these before you make up your mind on the style, because what will look good on one will be a disaster for another. Good luck on your choosing and think will it fit the body of my girls?
Reply:http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/sw...

this one looks fab and elegant. Hope you make the right choice and have a great time. ;)
Reply:The green is the best because it has the most movement in it. The bridemaids should shine and sparkle to. Which will make you and your wedding shine even more.God bless you and your future husband!
Reply:The FOREVER-StraplessTie will do. Since it already below the knee you want not have to cut it.

Go to
Reply:The lighter green dress I like the best and the darker green I like second. Both of the dresses have material that complements the wedding dress.
Reply:green dresses for me too. lovely!
Reply:Rusched upper w/ buttons down sides is the winner. I don't see why you'd mess with the Organza Overlay or Halter with Beads, unless the wedding was part of a 1970s vitamin commercial.

Strapless Tieat Empire Waist is cute, but doesn't leave much room for flaws. If you all happen to be models, go for it.

Since most of us aren't, though, stick with Rusched Upper w/ buttons down side, and a close second of rusched upper vertical then horizontal.
Reply:Who's gonna look at YOU and THEN the bridesmaids? That would be like trying to get cars to match on a freeway.

But to answer your question, who is the lady in the orange, do you know her? What is her name? I like her.
Reply:I like the cut and style of the orange one. I think it will look real pretty in blue.
Reply:The light green one is really pretty.
Reply:love the ones shown in green

My Yorkie's eyes are always overglowing with black goop...?

We've used the vet's prescription dog eye cleaner thing, we've used black and chamomile tea, water, antibiotics (it got a bit better afterwards but it's bad again) and now we're using cornflower water.

I've heard adding apple cider vinegar to the dog's water can help.

Any suggestions?

My Yorkie's eyes are always overglowing with black goop...?
a little black 'gloop' at the corner of the eye is OK. however the amount is very important. if it is making the ski wet, this will really irritate the skin as tears are quite irritant on skin.

there are many different reasons why too much discharge is produced.

1/ there may be irritation to the conjunctiva - this can be due to dusts, chemicals, or mild infections of the tissues around the eye

2/ the tear glands of the eye may not work properly, this means the eye itself is a little too dry, when this happens the eye is chronically irritated and the mucus glands over work making thick sticky discharge

now simply cleaning the gloop away is an important part of the treatment.

however these underlying probs need to be checked for.

go you your vet, i would first test the tear production (with a Schirmer tear test) then check for any corneal ulcer (with a fluorescein stain test).

followed with a full opthalmic exan

medication may be required. but trust your vet if they say it is normal, just clean the eye well
Reply:my Vet tells me to make sure that i keep the hair shaven around the eyes , but there is No groomer that will touch my dogs since his eyes are so bad . i have tried everything even Medication , i don't know what else to do Report It

Reply:If you have been to your vet more than once and there is still an issue time to look for a new vet. my cat had a similar problem and the vet gave me eyedrops, its a pain in the butt to give but well worth it, make sure you follow the instructions given to you for care or it will come back!

I need pictures of wedding cakes with blue flowers!?

My wedding colors are Cornflower Blue, Champagne, and Ivory. I'd prefer the flowers to be real, but if that doesn't happen, I won't be heartbroken.

I need pictures of wedding cakes with blue flowers!?
Have you tried www.theknot.com?

or type in blue flower wedding cake in google's search engine. I came up with the couple of images added below in seconds.

Also, go to your local library- you can find books there with cakes, cake making, and photos. JoAnn fabrics and Michael's craft stores often have cake decorating books available too.
Reply:We are using blue hydrangeas on our cake. I never found a cake that I liked that had blue flowers on them, however, I found a cake that I liked that had real flowers on it, and asked the florist if she thought she would be able to make it like that using "our flowers". So my advice is to find the cake that you like, and check with the florist to see if they could make it happen with your flower choices.
Reply:What flowers are you using for the bridal party? I'll update if you can tell me. I searched for wedding cakes with blue flowers but didn't come up with much.

Color Scheme Dilemma!?

All right, I'm lost.

I've decided to overhaul my old color scheme for a new one.

The old color scheme: deep reds, earthy greens, warm golds, and rustic oranges.

The new color scheme: deep, cool browns, fuchsias, cornflower blues, and maybe a splash or two of apple green for an accent.

After saving tons of photos from over the web, I've nailed down the new color scheme and absolutely love it. But I've run into a big problem:

I have a very nicely framed, old movie poster that's sentimental to me. It was a centerpiece in my one room apartment and went PERFECTLY with the old color scheme. I love this poster, but now it's going to stick out like a sore thumb!

How can I make this work? The picture is done in blacks, browns, golds, and warm yellows. For a photo of it, see here: http://www.geocities.com/j_nada/carp/mot...

Help!

Color Scheme Dilemma!?
Could it be repurposed to another room where it will blend better, or at least relocated to a section of wall where it won't receive as much attention?

Another idea would be to get an artwork light with a bulb or gel in one of your colors to cast a tint onto the poster.
Reply:The poster seems to be primarily gold and brown. You are still using brown shades in your new color scheme so I don't see it being an issue. Yes, you are getting away from the gold but I think a creative person as yourself can make it work. Obviously, by collecting the photos from the web, you have the decorating bug in you and you know what looks good. If you hang this poster on a wall that is not the focal point of your room, I think it will look great. Since this poster has sentimental value to you, you should hang it and enjoy it.
Reply:Perhaps if you re-matted it in something that went with both the image and the color scheme of the room it would work.

Betta Disease?

Water quality is good, no problems there. Temperatue is a bit cool, but all my other bettas are thriving at the same temperature and up until now Leviathan has been too.

He's gotten a tiny hole in his one fin, thought it might somehow be fin rot or bacteria so I treated that. He's since gotta a few more tiny pin holes and his fins look thinner is really the best way to describe it. His one ray has always been thinner/discolored. He was free from a breeder for that reason (he was to be culled). I know his spawn so I know that is should be royal blue and now he's looking more cornflower blue and there is no way he can genetically be turning that color.

Now:

Positive, helpful thoughts only please.

Betta Disease?
colours will change with age, and pin holes are signs that he's blowing his fin webbing from flaring too much. make sure he's not in permanent sight of other bettas.

keep water quality good and food varied and see how he progresses.

Flowers for the bridemaids?

This is the style of the dress (not the exact one) http://davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_deta...

In canary yellow, cornflower blue, and rose petal--- 3 different colors for the three bridemaids.

I was originally going to have pastel bouquets (b/c of the great suggestion from Darlene mouse)-- like the ones in this link http://www.wedideas.com/RoundPastels.htm

but my bridesmaid want the flowers to stand out more with brighter shades like hot pink, electric blue, and a bright yellow. Kind of like this picture but hot pink gerbera daisies, blue hydrangeas/or some other flower-- and yellow roses/or tigerlillies.

http://floristblogs.com/blogs/nunans/Win...

I'm not sure if it would look good-- but i want them to decide- would it look bad--

Also if you have pictures of bouquets with the bright colors that would really help.--- Doesn't have to be those specific flowers-- I just want to see how

Flowers for the bridemaids?
i think the first picture of the bouquet is nicer than the brighter. I think the best bet is to just have one of the colours stand out in the bouquet

what about something like these pics, only with some yellow flowers and more cream flowers than pink and blue?

http://www.viviano.com/images/prodshots/...

http://www.floristexpress.net/images/pro...

another idea is to have each bridesmaid hold a bouquet with all colours almost exatlcy the same colour as their dress only just one shade off, (it works) like these pics

http://www.skilesphotography.com/blog/wp...

http://www.weddingbee.com/wp-content/upl...

Alternatively they could swap bouquets?

yelow dress pink flowers

pink dress blue flowers

Blue dress yellow flowers
Reply:i think that if you were to do brighter flowers, it would be too busy, but if you were to do one uniform color, one that would go with all the dresses, it would look ok. i'm all for bright colors, but you also don't want it to look like it's all been thrown together. maybe one color of a bright flower, and then the same color of another flower in a more pastel shade. if you did that, like having yellow flowers for the girl with the yellow dress, etc., and then use a bright ribbo in the same color, it would look good. that way it'd still be bright and cheery, but not all over the place.
Reply:I agree with your BMs. Although pastels would look nice, I think brighter flower colors would work better at complimenting the dresses. By using colors that are brighter in your bouquets, you will actually make your dress colors pop more and the bouquet would be a great compliment to those colors.

i love this bouquet for a BM, and it is the perfect size too...

i agree with some other answers that mention a multi colored bouquet may be too busy....and that includes a multi color pastel bouquet. i really feel the link i provided is something that you can pull off. but, if you are afraid of all the colors being overwhelming, then i would go with a white tulip or a white lily.http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.asp...

Reply:I love the colors in the second link! If in doubt, visit a local florist. Take color swatches of the fabric if possible. I think the hot pink gerbera daisies with some blue, maybe a little white or yellow, would be good.
Reply:Don't listen to your bridemaid, I did that and didn't get champagne colored dresses but sort of happy??

So do what you want to do.
Reply:I like the first link of the flowers, I think it would go better
Reply:i liked the first flowers ..
Reply:I love the idea of three different colors for bridesmaids. Very cool, very chic and very original. Kudos!

For the flowers, I would actually try to refrain from using too many bright colors. I think the different colored dresses already make a great statement, but adding a multi-colored bouquet into the picture might look a little too chaotic, you know?

I LOVE gerber daisies. If I were having a spring wedding, that would be my flower of choice. I would stick to a very neutral color for the bridesmaids bouquets such as cream or light link.

This color is more pale yellow rather than cream, but could be used:

http://www.fiftyflowers.com/site_files/F...

Having the girls hold simple white daisies with the yellow center would be very pretty as well:

Reply:Have you visited a florist's shop? That's what I did for my wedding. I went to one that was highly recommended to me. I gave the florist my wedding colors and a budget. She showed me books, magazines, and asked what things I wanted. She did a beautiful job. If you haven't done that, you should. It doesn't take long. It doesn't cost anything until you sign the contract. If you go to someone that knows what they are doing you might be surprised at what they can offer.

I love the bouquet she did for me. It was so beautiful and perfect.
Reply:First of all, I love the idea of having the three different colors! (My bridesmaids wore printed dresses, and we had four colors to 'play' with.)

If you go with the pastels, it may end up looking like a baby shower...

I agree with your women, going with stronger hues

of flowers is the way to go -

You need to talk with your florist to see what flowers are available in which colors - and at what time of year your wedding is.

Reply:I think that having the flowers stand out would look good. But I don't know if I would make all the flowers in the bouquet that bright color. Maybe what you could do a bouquet with hot pink, medium pink and light pink; then do the same for the rest of the flowers. The varying shades would look lovely together.

You could use the pink gerbera daisies. They come in hot, medium and light pink. Maybe something like this:

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1367/6114...

For the blue bouquet it may be a little harder, but you could use some deep blue orchids and some blue hydrangeas:

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3071/2336...

Then for the yellow you could use the gerbera daisies, or you could do another flower:

http://img.123securepay.com/StoreBuilder...

You can also take some fabric samples to the florist and they will be able to match up the flower colors perfectly. Also, you might want to think about how you want to do your bouquet because you don't want your bouquet to clash with the bridesmaids bouquets.

What is the national flower of Poland?

My boyfriend is half Polish and thinks it is the weeping willow, yet other sources say that it is the cornflower and/or the poppy. Who is right?

What is the national flower of Poland?
There is no recognised national flower of Poland as such but after the battle at Monte Cassino (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_M... in World War II where the Polish troops took Monte Cassino after heavy losses. The only flower that was standing was the Cornflower or the Corn poppy, which in Latin is called - Papaver rhoeas (in Polish - mak).

Therefore in conclusion, and I am sorry to other posters, there is no official flower of Poland but there is an adopted one to represent the souls of the dead of Monte Cassino.
Reply:Corn Poppy (Papaver Rhoeas) or Red Poppy, a flower with vivid red four petals, most commonly with a black spot at their base. is the national flower of Poland. It is a variable annual plant in the northern hemisphere and generally flowers in late spring. During and after World War I, fields that had been disturbed by battle bloomed with Corn Poppies, and the flower has become a symbol of that war.
Reply:Corn Poppy (Papaver Rhoeas) or Red Poppy, also may be Pine tree because of the colour all year round.

Check it out.

Wedding Ideas?

SO! I am very excited, but just need some help on a few things.

I like this dress

http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns...

I'm 5'4" and about 110 lbs. Do you think it would fit my frame, or should I find one with a tigher bodice part?

I want my fiance to wear black suit, or tux, but definately not a penguin tux.. I'm trying to keep it somewhat casual formal if you get I what I mean.

I found the place of my dreams (the pic on the main page,it's actually the place in the picture, its nearby too!!!)

http://cargilephotography.com/

What do you think???

I wanted a white and kind of cornflower blue colors. Like a soft sky blue, not too bright.

For the colors though, I'm not quite sure for the center pieces... the reception is actually at the same place, so the decorations should be continuous...

I am going to be making any and all decoration because I'm crafty, but dont have a lot of ideas. Please Help!!!

Wedding Ideas?
That's a pretty dress for a casual/informal wedding.

I love cornflower blue!!

Reply:That is a beautiful dress. I think with you size and frame that it would look fantastic.

Depending on when you wedding is, you do not want something tight and clingy if it is hot outside.

Congrats and good luck!
Reply:I love the dress, but I think something with a long train...and comes out and is fluffy at the hips! Strapless too...the dress you picked out is kind of Beachey...something you would wear at a beach wedding! The place you are getting married at is absolutly Lovley! I am jealous!!! :)

Here is some that I found for you!

I am no help with the crafts! I am like you....love to do crafts...but can't come up with them! Here is a website I found for decorations...it is to buy them...but you could copy off of there ideas! http://www.beau-coup.com/
Reply:I think the dress is lovely, Keep everything light, airy and simple and beautiful and it will be wonderful!

Wedding Color Decision?

I know that one color is blue but I'm not sure what to make the other color for my wedding. I would have it Blue and White but it reminds me too much of my old school colors(royal blue/white), so I thought about Two Shades of Blue or Maybe Blue and Ivory...

The main color is Cornflower Blue: http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_...

Would you Keep the:

Blue/White

Blue/Blue

Blue/Ivory, or something else(please explain)?

Thanks!

Wedding Color Decision?
For your accent color, peach could be lovely as it is a warmer color. Blue/blue, blue/ivory, or blue/white all have cold color tones. Pink could also warm up the color scheme, but can look too baby blue/pink, which is why I'd recommend peach instead. Your bridesmaids could have peach-colored rose bouquets, which would pop against their cornflower blue dress. Blue flowers are notoriously difficult to find as well.
Reply:I think that blue and ivory or white should be your colors.
Reply:It's a beautiful color. I actually like that orange/coral - whichever color it is, that is shown there.

Otherwise, raspberry would be cool.

If you really don't like brighter colors, then go with buttercup or pink blush.

(I'm just a fan of pretty and happy colors for weddings!)
Reply:champagne is a new color david's has that I think goes with everything- how about your blue, ivory and cham.
Reply:hi desi! (,") blue/white.
Reply:With your old school colors being royal blue %26amp; white, you may not to go there, but MY wedding colors were royal blue %26amp; white and the videographer and photographer both told me the colors were amazing. The contrast between the dark royal blue against the white came out very well in the video and the photos. I was very pleased.
Reply:You can try coral and pink as accents if you want a fresh take on a standard color. The striking colors will really pop.

www.yourweddingcompany.com has a color wheel that may be of some help.
Reply:what about two different blues the cornflower and a lighter blue or darker a navy, you could do blue and silver, blue and chocolate, I think blue and yellow would be pretty...Blue as your main color with white and yellow as an accent color, check out these pics flowers white, yellow and blue

good luck and congrats
Reply:very pretty! I love the color...how about a pale yellow, or champagne color?
Reply:i would do blue ivory and silver as an accent color..
Reply:I love blue, so maybe a ligher blue and darker with ivory??
Reply:What about the cornflower blue and watermelon pink?
Reply:i think blue and sparkling silver would be fantastic you can have the table cloth and silver with blue tulip or roses and the curtains can be blue with silver bows!
Reply:id go blue %26amp; ivory im a photographer and a recent wedding had that and it was really nice.. if your looking for invites etc check my webpage i know someone who hand makes what you want and shes cheap but excellent quality....

www.freewebs.com/aristosnaps
Reply:I would say the watermelon or the pale yellow
Reply:I love the cornflower blue! It's my favorite color. I suggest you pair it with brown and also use plenty of ivory.
Reply:I think a light and dark blue would look gorgeous together. That cornflower with navy would be beautiful. Your problem would come with finding flowers though. It's very very tricky to find blue flowers, so I would suggest another color (either in addition to navy, or instead of it).

What time of year is the wedding? If it's summery, I think yellow is so cheerful, and would look great against those dresses. If it's winter, the shades of blue with a cream/off white/silver would look very elegant.
Reply:What about blush pink for an accent color? It is very light and understated, but will also make the cornflower "pop."
Reply:blue and a very pale pink its bautiful
Reply:What about blue and lavender? I think it would make it within the same color family but more interesting than another blue, more warm than an ivory, and less contrasting than a pink. Plus lavender flowers would be pretty and fragrant.

Crayola Doesn’t Make a Color For Your Eyes

by Kristin Andreasssen %26amp; Megan Downes / Yellowcar Music, ASCAP

I went to see the doctor. I’d come down with the blues.

She said “No, I can’t cure you, but I know something you can do.

Take out a piece of paper, and sit down for a while,

and draw a pretty picture of something that makes you smile.”

Well, I know what makes me happy. Didn’t have to think for long.

But when I tried to draw it, it always came out wrong.

I had a box of 12, 48 and 64,

but nowhere could I find that one shade I was looking for.

I guess I realized shoulda come as no surprise

Crayola doesn’t make a color for your eyes.

There is no way that I could possibly describe you.

Crayola doesn’t make a color to draw my love.

At first I thought of Green Blue, but then I saw Blue Green.

And then sometimes in bright light, they look Aquamarine.

I think at night they’re darker. I looked again for you.

Saw Grey and Black and went out walkin’ after Midnight Blue

But the hues of the deepest skies would be a compromise...

Chorus

Spring Green is much too yellow, Sea Green is far too pale.

Cornflower’s way too mellow, so I’ll try again and fail.

There’s no way I can capture the way you make me feel.

One look from you is rapture, whether Blue or Green or Teal.

No color qualifies. That crayon’s telling lies...

Crayola doesn’t make a color…

Hey look, it’s Periwinkle. So sure I got it now.

But you wink and there’s a twinkle in your eye and still, somehow,

I just can’t get that sparkle. Those glitter crayons won’t.

Maybe Glow-In-The-Dark’ll get it right. Aw, no they don’t.

Mr. Crayola tries, but I’m left to fantasize...

Crayola doesn’t make a color...

For your eyes, something darker let’s see what I can find.

Melted mahogany and got the depth not the shine.

Just about gave up and then I peeled the paper off a little end of…

Really thought it coulda been… ahh, not even Burnt Sienna!

Your passport says they’re brown, but I’m gonna keep lookin’ round…

%26amp; here’s a BONUS extra verse by Megan Downes. It was written after the recording was made but it is genius and if you are simging this song, you should learn it!!

Raw umber? Sepia? Which one is best for eyes of brown?

Your lashes can't conceal dark eyes so warm, so deep they drown

All my sorrows, pain and heartache; All my sadness is washed away.

Outside the lines, that color shines and makes a brand new day.

(A stick of) brown wax can't emphasize the way your eyes (just) hypnotize

Kristin voice %26amp; two hands playing pattycake.

Megan the other two hands playing pattycake.

Mark bass %26amp; whistle.

Scott percussion.

Ruth %26amp; Aoife harmony.

Reply:Kristen Andreassen, an independent country music artist, wrote and recorded a song entitled, "Crayola Doesn't Make a Color for Your Eyes" in which the narrator goes through several shades of blue, green, and brown trying to draw the subject of the song. It contains the line, "That crayon's telling lies," a reference to Crayola's claim to make colors for everything.

Why dont you try typing in the phrase "crayola doesnt make a crayon the colour of your eyes" into a search engine and the song name may pop up.

Christmas bird - goose, duck, capon chicken, turkey, touch of gravy

Christmas pudding dowsed in port or brandy topped with custard or cornflower sauce ...

Yea? Nay? Or what say you ... ?

What kind of Christmas dinner will you enjoy?
Yay for sure on the goose and duck - I had a grandmother that used to do both of those on Christmas Day! And the potatoes, stuffing and sauces sound divine - though I have to say I have never had Christmas Pudding!

Actually, today, I am giving a trial run to a new herb-encrusted Leg of Lamb recipe to see how it is - hoping to do it for Christmas, myself! Oh, and I'm thinking of just roasted potatoes and fennel along side, plus maybe with some asparagus. Still debating on dessert! Wish me luck!

Do you know what flower this is?

I planted a variety of flowers in my yard about 2 months ago. In each corner, I planted wildflower seeds, containing 8 types of flowers. They are now starting to bloom here and there, so I decided to look some of them up to identify them, seeing as how this is my first garden. Problem is, I have flowers growing that I'm not sure I planted.

So my question is...Do you know? There are about 6 of them, the tallest one being approx 3 ft high. They branch out in many places, with long, fat, somewhat pointed leaves, and very small white flowers that are grouped. As they have grown, the stems have become increasingly red. I would really like to know what these are...so anyone who might have a clue, please let me know, I really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Note: My wildflowers consist of - Lupine, Annual Baby's Breath, Cornflower, Cosmos, Virginian Stock, Sweet William Catchfly, Mountain Garland and Shirley Poppy.

Do you know what flower this is?
Don't know them all-- but:

Baby's Breath is filmy leaved with white multipetal flowers. When you see it you'll recognize it as a "filler" in florist arrangements.

Cornflower appears to be a blue button-- stalk stands up.

Cosmos has thready leaves with a daisy type bloom ( center button and petals around) --usually maroon, pink, dark pink or white. They will grow pretty tall.

Stock is sturdy looking straight stem. The bloom is somewhat roseish and close to the stalk. Probably very fragrant. Doesn't like heat.

Sweet William ( at least what I know) is a bi-annual-- it looks somewhat like a tight round very small bush-- no blooms this year, but next. Fragrant. Very good in containers.

Shirley poppy has a few leaves at the soil, a thin stem without any leaves and a bud on the very end. They prefer being seeded in the fall-- but don't like soil to "cover" them at all-- I shake the seeds where I want them.

Another self seeder that I like is larkspur-- you might want to try that.

Here in zone 7-- the poppys are done -- self seeding. The Cosmos is still blooming but getting hot it also self seeds.-- the cornflower is done for the year and self seeds--The baby's breath is finished and I hope it is self seeding. Don't have any lupine or stock-- and don't recognize Mountain Garland.

Hope this is some help.

What color should I paint my house?

I'll be painting the exterior of my house this fall, and I'm looking for suggestions.

A little background.. The house is a 90 year old 4-square home. It's currently pale yellow with cornflower blue trim. We just had new windows installed and they are white around the edges. Our home is the first home on the block in a diverse, urban neighborhood.

Please suggest three colors that play well together. We'll need a main color, trim color, and another for the little details.

Thanks in advance!

What color should I paint my house?
Go to www.sherwin-williams.com and click on homeowner and then click on launch color visualizer. When that window opens you can pick exterior and choose a house that's similar to yours. Then you can click on different colors to see how they look.

If your house is the first on the block then I'm assuming you have a corner lot. I wouldn't go with white because it will show dirt. It's hard to say without seeing your house or knowing what you like, but I like tan with green trim. Another thing to consider is what color your roof is. You don't want to paint a color that would clash with your roof.
Reply:I would suggest white.
Reply:white
Reply:pale grey, burgundy and navy blue
Reply:colourful:)every wall other colour
Reply:blue purple and white...

green, purple, and beige/white.

green, tan, and a pale yellow

anything that looks different than the other houses but compliment eachother is perfectly fine...=D
Reply:I think it would look up to date with the house being a cream color and then the trim a chocolate brown, put in a dark walnut front door and some white trim, beautiful! Put some palm trees, a fountain, society garlic and hibiscus in the front yard and you have a tropical paradise.
Reply:blue. Indigo.

"Well," his mother answered, "your father and I were in a cornfield, when we made her."

"And why is my other sister called 'Moonchild'?"

"We were watching the moon landing while she was conceived," the mother replied.

What crayola color do you like least?

Growing up I always hated the color Cornflower. It was a kind of blue color, but it wouldn't color well, like it was too waxy and not enough pigment, and the color was very muted.

What crayola color do you like least?
I hate the Magenta crayons because they taste like broccoli . .
Reply:silver was an ugly crayola color to me never dark enough
Reply:I hated the color white. they make crayons so you can COLOR. That stupid white crayon did not show upon anything, it was useless. What were they thinking????lol
Reply:I agree with you. I've never liked "cornflower" just because that's how I was as a kid. I was very picky and didn't like certain toys and games just because.
Reply:Def white..........don't know why they even make that color!
Reply:asparagus green...nasty.
Reply:Violet Red. I always mixed it up with red and it screwed up my pictures. My favorite was Macaroni and Cheese though. It was an orangy color and it was really cool.
Reply:White. It dosn't show up, not even on black paper, (though they say it does).
Reply:green bean, it looks like poo.

"Say Mom, why is my bigger brother named Mighty Storm"?

"Because he was conceived during a mighty storm", she said.

Then he asked "Why is my sister named Cornflower"?

"Well your father and I were in a cornfield when we made her", she replied.

He then asked "And why is my other sister called Moonchild"?

"We were watching the moon-landing when she was conceived", the mother replies.

The mother paused and said to her son...

"Tell me, Torn Rubber, why are you so curious"

What paint color would look great with the paint color COWSLIP? My sofa is Cranberry.?

I am painting my living room that has 14ft ceilings. The end is painted with the cowslip yellow and I would like to paint the wall where the cranberry sofa is a complimentory color for both the "Cowslip" wall and the sofa. I have thought of a sage or slate green, cornflower blue or even a neutral tan? Oh I just don't know! Please help!!!:-)

What paint color would look great with the paint color COWSLIP? My sofa is Cranberry.?
Your colors sound great. A sage or khaki green would compliment both the cranberry and the cowslip yellow. Not sure about the blue and the tan might be too blah. Tell us how it turns out.
Reply:Tan I have that in my living room
Reply:Taupe is great and supports a multitude of colors.
Reply:i like the tan..........

What can i make with following ingredients?

i have:

3 chicken breasts

onions

3 peppers

carrots

jersey potatoes (small salad tatties)

kidney beans (tinned)

beans (tinned)

chopped tomatoes (tinned)

olive oil

i have no soy sauce, cornflower, stock cubes or eggs

What can i make with following ingredients?
I'd throw everything except the beans and Kidney beans in a crock pot...(or in a baking dish) salt and pepper to taste (maybe some garlic powder if you have it)...with a little of the olive oil... or even saute it all (carmelize the onions and peppers then add the chicken and some taters... with the diced tomatoes...

if you wish serve the kidney beans or beans on the side
Reply:Chop up the veggies and put it all in a slowcooker/crockpot. If you have a can of some sort of soup, that would be a good addition, but if not, just put in some water. Just enough to cover the food and then keep an eye on it to make sure the water doesn't all get cooked out...add some more as needed or if needed.
Reply:hi there,

there a a few things that i can think of that you can make with the ingredients above. you could make a curry, or a paella or even a casserole you could make your own sauce or by one. i hope this helps you out. paella is made with rice but you could add this too.
Reply:mix it all together and have some kind of poor man stew or something Im aure it would be good with the right seasoning
Reply:fry onions and fry chicken put them in a dish cover with tinned toms chop up some of the peppers put them in with chicken and onionsstick this in the oven and cook it all together boil carrots and potatoes serve and enjoy
Reply:I would bake the chicken with the onions, peppers cut on top along with some type of all spice or even if you have a pkg of brown gravy mix (mix the gravy with water) add all of those ingred. cover with foil (if you have it) and bake. 350 -bout an hour or hour and half

Then I would take the potatoes and carrots clean them up and steam them

then cook one of the beans with the tomatoes and add a little honey if you have it or butter will do as well.

Happy eating
Reply:I am no Rachel Ray, but I would leave out the olive oil and make a hearty crockpot (or stovetop) thick soup or stew.
Reply:Mexican chicken
Reply:skip out on the potatoes and make a chicken chili by cubing and frying the chicken in olive oil and slow simmering everything else together.
Reply:chicken stew....

just mix all of the ingredients...add chicken stock....
Reply:cube the chicken onion and peppers and kabob them.....BBQ till done......dice carrots and mix with beans and tomatoes add a tiny bit of olive oil and vingar f you have any and serve as a salad
Reply:Chop the chicken and tatties , then stir fry the whole lot !!
Reply:Wow! Perfect stir fry.

Try this website, it asks what you have in your house and will give a wide variety of things you can cook. There are no peppers, kidney beans or olive oil in its list (quite a basic site really) but will provide you with some ideas. It will also tell you of what percentage of ingredients you have for the meal.
Reply:chicken casserole

Do you collect Longaberger Baskets?

I'm looking for someone who collects Longaberger Baskets, i need to sell some baskets and pottery (mixing bowls, pie plate, bowls, mugs, plates (all in cornflower)). if your interested please respond.

Do you collect Longaberger Baskets?
Thoughtful, nonintrusive way to ask. I live in NJ and need some metal nesting mixing bowls. I love baskets. I know Longaberger. Which ones do you have?

Color choice???

http://www.perfectweddingguide.com/kansa...

-follow this link to see a pic. of where my reception will be..it won't have the lights hanging down though. I was thinking of having a beach theme (teal and white) but I don't think I'm going to be able to come up with enough decor to drown out the golds and reds. What should I do? I haven't bought very much stuff yet; I can take back what I did get (it came from wal-mart). What colors would work well in the room if not? The beach theme was because I love this dress (http://davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_det... with cornflower as the color. Therefore, my bridesmaids would wear a dress in that same color (solid though). I just don't know what to do!

Color choice???
Don't look at the rooms colors nobody is looking at the chairs or wall. It's the color of the tablecloths, napkins and the centerpeices that people look at more than anything. They are there to socialize and have fun so make it a "celebration" and it's what you make it that poeple will remember. .
Reply:First, please understand that themes are highly overrated. Unless absolutely everything obviously fits a theme (like, you're on a beach for the wedding), guests are not going to pick up on the theme. Really, a wedding-themed wedding will suffice just fine.

Second, it doesn't matter at all if your bridesmaids match the interior of your reception site. No one is going to pay that much attention. Think about it. Have you ever been to a wedding and noticed that the color of the chairs didn't match the colors of the bridesmaid dresses? No, I'm sure you haven't. And your guests won't notice either.

Stick with this reception site, and go with the cornflower. It will be fine! But drop the theme, especially a beach theme. These dresses are not beachy dresses anyway (they're too long for sand). And unless you're getting married on a beach, a beach theme is pretty pointless.
Reply:Does you site offer chair covers by any chance? If so and you could afford them, thats a good ption for you to drown out the heavy red color of the room. The champagne color would go perfectly with your beach theme because its the color of sand, plus champagne goes well with any style or decor, its a mute color so it will adapt to your color scheme.

I would look into the chair covers.
Reply:You could still do a sea theme but make it more like a navy sea. You could incorporate navy, cream and chocolate colors. Maybe have navy tablecloths with cream napkins with sea shells and candles as the centerpiece. If you choose to dim the lights it would make a more "rich" and romantic appearance.
Reply:Beautiful place %26amp; very nice gown design. Teal might work if its a light teal. Theres a lot of gold %26amp; red in the room but your guests will be looking at you %26amp; the wedding party. Go with what you like. This is your special day- make the most of it. (Congrats)
Reply:Well let me say that "I almost bought that exact same dress from David's" - I'm really glad I didn't because you are the third bride that I've talked to that has bought or planned on buying that dress. You may want to consider another dress, or something similar to it, to avoid looking like a clone. With that said, it's a beautiful dress and if you are set on wearing it then you should do so. The room is LOVELY but I agree that its a big contrast to the casual beach dress you want to wear. If you are set on using that room, it will be difficult to drown out the deep reds and browns (though you could use chair covers in a light ivory) and the cornflower color will not help, it'll only melt into the background. I would suggest that you "fancy up" your wedding dress. Go for something more formal (because that room demands a formal wedding reception) or change your venue and have a beach or outdoor wedding. That dress would be perfect for outdoors - but even if you wear long gloves and wear your hair up, it won't stand up in that room. Good luck.
Reply:For the chairs you can rent chair covers in any color that you would like to match your wedding colors. Or you could rent white chair colors with whatever bow tied around them to match. Tablecloths are the same you can rent any color you want. Dont focus on the colors of the room. The floor wont be noticable once you cover the chairs.

Dont base your theme off of your bridesmaids dresses. Pick something that is uniquely you. Your from Kansas so beaches arent really a common thing where you are. If your set on the beach theme though keep the decorations simple. Don't over do it with palm trees and flip flops on teh tables.
Reply:if you get chair covers it will cover the red in the chairs and you can go ahead wit you beach wedding. check with the hall, they often have them there and rent them, or check with your caterer (if they are the one providing the linens). they are not that expensive and totally change the look of the room
Reply:sounds nice
Reply:Personally because that maroon is everywhere I'd either play on that color or go to a rental store and rent slipcovers...they're usually not that bad to rent...

then you could do your beach theme...the gold will be fine with teal and white

Themes in life?

Have you notice how all thinhgs medical are always so pure, crisp and acreate; but always green and blue?

Have you noticed that the police always are first to blame dispite scientific reasoning to establish if someone is guilty before insisting that they are. Everything is indigo and blue.

Have you noticed how people who like heavy metal and motorbikes, everything is black?

Have you noticed that everything to do with babies is always like flumps and is pink, cream and pale blue? That everything seems to be made of cornflower and talc powder?

Have you noticed that all computer have to make bleep niose rather that anything else. They always have to look as if they are actually space-ships?

It is like pirates always have to skull and cross bones, as well as a treasure map. One thing always follows something else in this way.

Would you agree that everything has have a theme?

Why?

Themes in life?
Yes, themes or flavors, so to speak.

Often there is an association to the planets and the colors or feeling associated with them.

ie, Mercury represents medicine or finance and the color associated is green.

Black is Saturn, white is the moon, orange is Mars/business or sports, yellow is Jupiter/children , and so on.

Perhaps you detect a subtle correlation.
Reply:It is true that every thing natural or otherwise have a theme which somehow justify its existence. The reasons behind existence of theme may include:

- To give some physical significance to the things planned;

- To clarify its objectives and roles;

- To introduce the idea and invite discussion;

- To attract attention of prospective customers;

- To give an idea of the things to come:

- To make one attentive and careful for the consequences.Etc.

Therefore, everything has a theme which acts like a preamble to its introduction.

I've narrowed my choices for a wedding dress down to 2!!!?

ok, so my fiance and i fianlly narrowed my choices down to 2 (for the most part, there's one we really like, but it's out of our price range) for the wedding dresses. in general, it'd be either a pale, cornflower blue type colour (not sure cornflwoer blue is the right shade...but it sounded pretty!) or ivory with blue accents and floral embroidery. which dress do you think would be a better choice? oh, and i'de change them both to a wider v-neckline!

1) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...

2) http://www.fashionsintime.com/html/bcote... and http://www.fashionsintime.com/html/coteh... for more information on it.

just wondering which one is genreally thought of as a prettier option! or maybe a combiantion of both... thanks ^-^

I've narrowed my choices for a wedding dress down to 2!!!?
I think the first is a little more like a wedding dress white with a train but the second would also be nice because it would be different from the everyday white wedding dress that alomst everyone gets
Reply:I think the first one is prettier.
Reply:The blue one, it really stands out beautiful for that style
Reply:I'm sorry but I don't like either of them.
Reply:I like the first one because it still has a hint of tradition, with the white, along with your personality ... see if a blue can be added instead of burgundy, if you favor that color over the other. Other than that, it looks beautiful!!! Congrats!
Reply:Number one, looks less like a costume, I guess. Didn't think you were serious the last time you posted.....
Reply:Number 2 is a pretty dress. I'd personally go with it.
Reply:I would say the first one because it looks more traditional
Reply:i think the blue dress would be the best one because it has more structure to it and shape and it has more detail
Reply:wow you have really asked a lot of questions on this! I like number 1, its prettier and more "bridal"
Reply:just go to the mail do not buy online since you do not know what may come in the mail!!!!!!
Reply:i like the first one it is really pretty
Reply:I'm not really a fan of that style, but if those were my choices, I would say the first one. It looks closer to a traditional wedding gown, of course, I dont know what was traditional in Midevil times.
Reply:Congrads and good luck to you on getting engaged. I think that dress #2 is really nice. Also cornflower is a nice color, That is the color of my wedding cornflower and ivory.
Reply:Ha ha. Very funny.
Reply:I think dress #2 but in Ivory. Having a medeival wedding? Very interesting! Good luck in your choice.
Reply:If I were to choose it would be the blue. I personally am not into gothic styles, but the blue really stands out. Good luck to you.
Reply:1st one for me but it's not my wedding

IT'S YOURS

ps: good luck
Reply:id choose none of those...they are horrible
Reply:I like 2 much better. I think #1 would be unflattering on most women.
Reply:I think the ivory w/blue accents is beautiful! You should go with that one! Congrats and good luck!!!
Reply:I personally like the blue one.
